7" exceptional quality Tarvati singing bowl" This a quite heavy walled bell like bowl. One thing of note are the lathing marks inscribed within and around the bowl. I don't believe I have ever seen another bowl of this age so decorated. Around the sides are lightly inscribed marks that are suggestive of Roman numerals. A pure tone and rare looks, a truly exceptional piece. This weighs 694 gm and is just under 7" across. |
