A very nice Qing Dynasty Bead. I call these green leopards, the base is of opaque green glass, with a transparent green crumbs lampworked on the substrate. The result is delicious. When beads of this style were commonly available they were difficult to keep in stock. This one is extra large, being about 23 mm in diameter. This is between 100 and 200 years old. |
