In addition, we offer our hill tribe silver in a spectacular 23kt real gold Vermeil. This rich gold coating on our beads and pendants has proven durable and popular, giving the the look of real gold at a fraction of the cost. We carry a large and varying assortment of vermeil beads and pendants, but almost any style in stock can be plated with a 2-3 week lead time. (Some styles of hollow pendants cannot be vermeiled, so please inquire before planning any major projects) PRICING All charms and pendants and most beads are sold by the piece (though priced by weight): some of the smaller beads and spacers are sold by weight with a 10 gram minimum. We have attempted to give an idea of # of beads per 10 grams for these items; please see our new weightlists. Still to come: our selection of Rice Beads and Tiny Bead strands. Retail orders for hill tribe silver are priced by weight at $1.50 per gram. Discounts apply at 50 grams ($1.25/gm) and 100 grams ($1.00/gm). Vermeil (23kt gold over silver) is priced at $1.85 per gram, with discounts at 50 grams ($1.50/gm), and 100 grams ($1.25/gm). We regret the recent price increases, however, silver on the world market has gone from $6.50 to over $9.00 in the past twelve months, and has more than doubled in the past four years.
